6-Legged Walking Logging Machine

I saw this on TV about six months ago when it was still in the “development” phase and am glad to see the project come to completion. Pulsetech, a Finnish subsidiary of John Deere has official named this beast the “Oy Walking Machine.” With the ability to shift its weight between any of its 6 legs the Oy can avoid damaging the forest floor while harvesting only select trees. Pulsetech hopes that with there new method of harvesting they can reduce the clear cutting of forests and actually give back to forests by allowing new trees to take the place of ancient giants.
