A Swiss inventor plans to send Airships equipped with a mobile phone antenna and other devices for transmitting digital data into the stratosphere as an alternative to current antennas. The inventor states that using this technology will make wireless data transfer more reliable and result in less radiation because the signals are unobstructed by manmade or natural objects when transmitted from above. The entire system should be ready for testing a year from now.

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a technology used more and more these days. A birdlike aircraft with no conventional mechanical moving parts is currently in development. The key material of this concept is an ionic polymeric-metal composite (IPMC) with the unique capability of deforming in an electric field and returning to its original shape when the field is removed. Quoted by IEEE Xplore “Combining the IPMC with thin-film batteries and thin-film photovoltaics provides both energy source and storage in the same structure. The characteristics of the materials enables flapping motion of the wing to be utilized to generate the main propulsive force.”

Audio4Fun is offering a software that allows Girl Gamers to change their voice and sound like Boys. The company is trying to solve the problem of girls being constantly harrased when playing online and being singled out. I do have to say that I have seen alot of girls being called names and harrsed when playing online and at times it killed the fun since people were so busy trying to get them out of the game. I guess this might just solve the problem once and for all.

How do teenagers receive calls in class and text messages with teachers never having an idea of whats going on? Humans have the ability to hear better before the age of 20. This pretty bizarre phenomenon is called ”presbycusis”. We lose our ability to hear higher frequencies as we get older, in average after 20 but it ranges. The high pitch 18 to 20kHz ‘’special” sound was used by police to move teenage gangs away from shopping centers. Teens started recording that sound on their cell phones and shared it with others via bluetooth or infrared transfers to use them as ring tones. Now when a teenager’s phone is ringing only the young ones can hear it, NOT adults/teachers.
Motorola filed a patent for a massaging phone, it seems that they are planing to develop a phone that can stimulate more than one part of your body. I suppose that its a natural evolution with all the vibrating phones out there and I also suppose that its not going to surprise anyone if one day phones are used as massaging devices. You can see the patent application your self by
