I have no idea if this actually works or if it is just a foolish try to make everyone on the internet look dumb. If it works, we need to know! Jump starting a car with wool by rubbing it over the positive side of the battery is hard to believe. VIDEO->

This has got to be bull-oney. It takes several hours to charge a car battery when you use a home car charger. There’s no way that ten minutes of static can make the kind of power it takes to turn you engine.
My advice to you- instead of keeping a wool hat in your car, always buy cars with manual transmissions. That way, you can push start it if you’re in a bind.
