Developed by a Californian Institute of Tech and now marketed by a firm called Liquidmetal Technologies this is one very springy metal. This material has a high potential for many mechanical devices. The alloys contain atoms of significantly different sizes, leading to low free volume (and therefore high viscosity) when melted. Its pretty impressive when looking how long it can bounce.
