For years I’ve had my trusty little webcam watching my place to make sure nothing goes wrong, to let me check on cat when I’m out (sad, I know), and to provide me some sense of security. Now, thanks to SmartHome.com’s Solar Powered Security Camera my webcam might be forced to retire. SmartHome’s camera works on a truly wireless basis. By collecting power from the sun and broadcasting wirelessly, the camera can be placed anywhere within 250 feet of its receiver. Just to sweeten the deal, the camera has an optional motion sensing feature.
