Sony has just started shipping their 50GB Dual-Layer Blu-Ray discs, returning Blu-Ray to the top of the High-Capacity Format wars. Dual-Layer HD-DVDs have been out for a while but only have a capacity of 30GB, just 5GB more than a regular Blu-Ray. To put it all in perspective 50GB means more than four hours of HD video.
