H2O power has only been around for millennia. The only difference in the last century is that any naturally moving source can move an electrical generator such as a waterfall with a wheel, or a wind source, or a generator attached to Al Gore’s lips.

Johnny, I don’t remember typing �so if we make this at home, we can get free power????� or anything of the sort…

I was making a point that as materials and power requirements get lower and lower, water will become a resource.

How you got something out of it to pump your own ego, I do not know, lol. Putting words in people’s mouths won’t make you seem any smarter in a place where it’s only comments, not discussion.

“so if we make this at home, we can get free power????” erm, in a word, NO!!! It takes you thousands of times more energy to life the water back to the starting point than than the puny milli-amps of electricity you get.

It’s static electricity build-up. But don’t get your hopes up on free power. High voltage but negligible amps (power = volts)x(amps). It’s extremely inefficient. You would be far better off harnessing the energy with a waterwheel - the source of the energy is simply falling water.
