
I don’t know what to think of this clip. It seems like some sort of wallpaper on the building. I don’t think its a distorted image, it truly is a building in Paris but how is it made? VIDEO->

Actually, it’s heavy canvas, cladding a perfectly normal building which is undergoing renovation. This is normal practice in France, to cover the facade & the scaffolding with a giant canvas. I’ve seen other canvasses which have been painted on, but never one done with such fantasy. I understand that it’s a distorted photo of what’s actually underneath. Anyway, worth a visit if you’re coming over here.
There are some other buildings in Paris with quite spectacular trick paintings on the wall - they’re called “trompe l’oeil” (deceive the eyes)
