At the 2011 Tokyo motor show, WHILL a company from Japan has presented a concept which will allow all wheelchairs to be used as an electric vehicle.
I couldn’t find a clip of their invention yet but here is another interesting concept that can turn wheelchairs into electric vehicle as well, except that this one is alot bigger than the WHILL and is meant to be used just as a full sized scooter.
