# Aerogel not just for NASA !

World’s lightest solid has always been something that only NASA could come up with and use. Now folks from United Nuclear are selling it to the public. For about $30 USD you can now have a chunk of this remarkable substance. Aerogel is chemically similar to glass, however it is actually composed of 99.8% air. Yes it is 99.8%…go figure ?
