# Does Planet X Exist?

Astronomers have been searching for Planet X for more than a hundred years, a hypothetical ice giant orbiting the Sun beyond the Kuiper belt. There’s a region at the edge of our Solar System called the Oort Cloud, where long-period comets are thought to originate from. Could an undiscovered planet here account for discrepancies in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune?
