# Eratosthenes Calculates Earth’s Circumference

2200 years ago a man by the name of Eratosthenes was able to calculate the circumference of the Earth using the sun, two sticks and his calculations. It amazes me because I know that even with the knowledge I have now and If I were to live in his time, I probably wouldn’t know how to calculate earth’s circumference. VIDEO->
