Nikon’s Coolpix P900: this modestly looking camera has one awesome innovation – 83x optical zoom.

 
As you see in the video below, this compact device could actually be used as a telescope for moon watching (crater details and all)! And it can record video too, 1080p at 60fps to boot.
If this is not enough for you, it also features 16.0-megapixel, 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor, and a 166x dynamic fine zoom.  Integrated Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, a high-performance AF system with 7fps burst shooting and a Vari-angle 3-inch LCD display are its other specs.
