# No-Contact Bicycle Dynamo Lighting

The old bicycle dynamo lights used friction to generate energy to power your bicycle lights, it was a system that worked but made too much noise and was always in contact with your wheels. This new no-contact dynamo works on metallic wheel rims and uses the “eddy currents” to produce energy. It is made by Dirk Strothmann and his project is on KickStarter.
