# Should Chimps Have Human Rights?

There’s a group of people who’ve gone to court, trying to give a captive chimpanzee many of the same rights as human beings. The group called the ‘Nonhuman Rights Project’ is posing some very interesting arguments that could have wide-ranging implications for intelligent animals across the US.
