In video games, handheld flamethrowers may be considered common. In real life, however, those did not exist… up until now.

 
XM42 is a handheld, self-contained flamethrower you can actually buy. And it doesn’t require any special additional equipment to use. Once fueled, it can immediately set things ablaze up to-25 feet away.
According to ION Productions, the company offering this gadget, you can “use (XM42) for weed control, clearing snow, starting your bonfire or just for fun!”
