It’s cool to look at new tech but it’s also good to admire nature’s inventions. The gympie-gympie plant is best known for stinging hairs which cover the whole plant and deliver a potent neurotoxin when touched. It’s tiny hairs can remain in your skin for up to a year and still release toxins. It’s really painful as this reporter found out.
