In certain cold countries temperatures can hit below -30 celcius and living in a proper shelter is key for survival but no matter how advanced the country is there are always people left behind as homeless. Many people die from the cold even in a civilized country, providing them with proper shelter can be a challenge. Martin Azura, a Barcelona based designer completed this ingenious pocket shelter. Created from a metalized polyester material, when unfolded it self inflates with body heat or from the heat of the sun to provide an instant shelter. Once inside the shelter, the material reflects your body heat to keep the user warm. If reversed the material will reflect the sun to keep a cool interior.
