When one soldier is wounded and the medic tries to help him out, it is a risk that the medic gets injured too. BEAR is a robot that will help save alot of lives without risking additional human lives. For now it is just a prototype. One day we might never see firefighters running in buildings to save lives. 7-10-2006 in 20:51:59thats pretty good but they should make it have some kind of fireproof/bulletproof protection after it picks up the wounded guy cuz its basically just lifting him up higher to be shot at or any open flame could hurt him more.
