The Batwing-inspired Cobalt Co50 Valkyrie personal fighter jet may just be the next level above owning a supercar.
The aircraft was designed with three iPad-style screens that display the important information – flight duration left depending on fuel level, etc.
The Valkyrie is powered by an aft propeller, paired with a turbocharged 350-horsepower engine, enabling it to achieve speeds in excess of 300 mph. It has a smaller forewing near its nose, in front of the main wing, to help prevent mid-air stalls.
The jet’s capacity is 5 seats. In addition to the expansive 320° view provided by the one-piece canopy, passengers can enjoy the aircraft’s Hermes craftsmen stitched premium leather seats and a minimalist dashboard.
According to Cobalt CEO David Loury:
Ten years ago, I had a vision to disrupt the aviation industry with an innovative private aircraft, that is not only technologically sound and safe, but also design-centric and luxurious. Today, Cobalt is no longer just a prototype. It’s a world class aircraft, complete with advanced safety, technology, and modern design features for travel-loving consumers and aviation enthusiasts.
