A thousand light years from Earth, astronomers believe they have made a discovery that may prove life not only comes from stars, but is spread everywhere throughout the universe. Most likely formed during star bursts and during hot, violent gas jets. A molecule called hyrdogylamine – NH2OH – was detected in a start forming region of the Milky Way – L1157 – B1. This chemical can react with other chemicals like acidic acid to form amino-acids which are building blocks for DNA.
