thats great, if they could only make it louder… then it would be perfect.
I so wanted him to pull those skiers on to land.
For the record; it has gone 39 mph on water and as of 3/5/07 has gone 65 mph on land with 148 HP. We expect it will go 60 on water and over 80 on land when we install the 300+ HP Aluminum 350 engine. The 350 engine will be much more queit than the tune piped (read loud) snowmobile engine it has now. Matbe we can install a killer stereo to get the noise leave up enough to suit you.
The Brits have an amphibious sports car called the Aquadica for 500,000#s. The car goes well over 100mph on land and handles much better on H2O than that flick. Do a Google search.
I just saw those speed specs on another site(the new ones). 80 would be crazy on tracks. What an amazing machine. If I was financially stable I’d drive my dually to texas just to bring one home to Indiana. I’m so glad to see that they switched to a 4 cycle engine, but I don’t understand why not like a thousand cc 4 cycle snowmobile engine(preferfably with turbo) which doesn’t come close to the weight of the small block but still with awesome power. Power to weight ratio I would think would be pretty good. I say that engine, a heat exchanger like the old 4cyl mercs, and a radiator with some air shrouds to help feed it since it would be enclosed(if I had my way).
