Google believes it’s possible to create a ring of balloons that fly around the globe on the stratospheric winds and provide Internet access to the earth below. That would mean that the current 2.2 billion people online will be joined be the other 4.8 billion who have never had internet access. It’s a huge project and it will change the world.
