Here is an interesting approach to generating a hologram, the Kinect detects the position of the user and adjusts the 3D rendering on the table giving a very good illusion of a hologram or 3D object in real space. It’s far from the recent post about the Most Advanced Holographic Technologies but its pretty cool.
