Ralph Baer may not be a familiar name to you but if you play video games via a video game console whether it be an Xbox or a PlayStation, you should thank this man. In 1968, he created “the Brown Box” which later became the Odyssey which was sold in 1972. That machine started the video game console business. So thank you, Mr. Baer.
