The first video left me gaping. Does that man know that mercury is absorbed through the skin and causes brain damage? I admit that it is beautiful, but, nevertheless, is extremely harmful to both organisms and the environment.

Though mercury is a neurotoxin, the higher risk comes from mercury vapors rather than the liquid being absorbed through the skin. Mercury does not remain in your system forever, either. Mercury is excreted in many ways, including the feces, urine, and hair.
