Thr World’s First and Only Functional Jetpack

JB-9 was recently seen in real action – looping around the Statue of Liberty.

David Mayman, the Australian entrepreneur who designed and developed the world’s first wearable jetpack soared across the Hudson River in New York City. After his flight presentation, Mayman made a smooth landing on a boat.

JB-9 is compact but powerful – it can propel its pilot 10,000-feet above ground and reach speeds of 63 mph. One can fly with the jet turbine-powered backpack for about 10 minutes before the device needs to be refueled.
