Space elevators, Skylon as well as warp drive have already been well documented on here but number 2 in the video intrigues me. Called the LightCraft it will be propelled by a concentrated laser beam from earth to space. It’s the first time I hear of this mode of propulsion and I can’t get it out of my head. Well, technically I have seen the space-sail which uses sun’s rays to propel a spacecraft but launching from earth with lasers is just genius!
