As a soccer/european football fanatic and player I HATED seeing multiple lines on a field that were for multiple sports. For example a couple of years ago when you would watch an MLS football/soccer game you would see a whole bunch of lines that had nothing to do with the sport you are watching. And this really used to upset me, all this budget to buy players but they couldn’t afford a proper field. Perhaps with this new technology this issue will be easier to digest.
ASB GlassFloor replaces painted lines with LED lights and it is about time that someone invented this. We have seen it in the movie Tron where the boundaries of a playing field are made by electronic lights. It was pretty cool and now we get to see something very similar to that.
