Relentless invention sets Dyson apart. DC41 has twice the suction of all other vacuums, claims Dyson. They even go the extra mile to test their devices.

I guess if you compare your $500-600 vacuum to a cheap piece of crap vacuum, you can easily have twice the suction. How about a comparison to a serious vacuum like a (US) Electrolux canister vac made by Aerus, not a cheap UK Electrolux model? I would pit my ten year old Electrolux against a Dyson any day. And I can toss my Electrolux off a porch and it absolutely won’t break. No cheap crap plastic on it, unlike the Dyson. Yes, the Electrolux costs 2-3 times more, but Dyson claims “twice the suction of ANY other vacuum.” Let’s put that to a real test, shall we?
I will take your word for it and will definitely look for a Electroulux next time I go shopping for a vacuum….right now I got a no brand one…I dont even know if it sucks anything…it just makes noise…
They’ve gone from stretching the truth with their ads to OUTRIGHT LYING with this one. I’m in the business and I’ve never heard of an “air watt”. Vacuum cleaner motors are measured by water lift, air flow, and CFM. As someone who works on these things every day, I can tell you, there is nothing different or special about Dyson’s products. I have NO IDEA how they get away with saying the things they do.
Ya, it does seem too good to be true…
