Via Korea Times -> South Korea has developed a robot that is capable of running. The feat is the second in the world after Japan. It can run roughly 500 meters an hour. Sony’s ASIMO is faster with a running speed of 3km (1.86 mph) an hour. However it does offer voice and facial recognition.
This robot is built with modulated blocks, which means it can be transformed easily to other types because it is made like Lego building blocks.
Another strength is that this 60-centimeter-tall machine works via software upgraded from outside network, the features our Japanese rivals do not have.
