The idea behind OLPC is that every child in underdeveloped countries should have a laptop to study on. To promote technology in areas where time seems to have stopped. The $100 Laptop design seems to be these two which feature 500mhz Processor, 1GB Memory, Two-Mode Display and running on Linux. It can be charged via AC Adaptor or Handcrank for up to 10mins of use. Why didn’t B.Gates think about this !!!
