Not much is known about Omni Mark-1, except that it has already set a world record.
Canadian inventor Catalin Alexandru Duru’s invention managed to travel a total distance of 275.9m to achieve a new Guinness World Records title for “Farthest flight by a hoverboard.” The hoverboard reached a height of 5-meters and covered a distance of over twice that of two full sized football pitches, before gently landing in Quebec’s Lake Ouareau.
The amazing propeller-based hoverboard has several patents pending. And, remarkably, it only took the inventor 12 months to design and build it.
