Lampuga is touted as the “world’s fastest electric surfboard”. You could use it for swimming or surfing, ride it as jet ski or a body board.
The board has an electric drive that shoots water-spewing thrust out at its tail. Its 15-horsepower drive uses a brushless synchronous motor powered by a 52-volt lithium-ion battery that provides 20-35 minutes of continuous run time and up to 12 miles (20 km) of range. Via the 60-amp charging station, Lampuga recharges fully in just 1 hour.
The board is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber. Instead of bindings, Lampuga relies on a basic anti-slip mat, while two grab handles provide grip and steering for electric knee-boarding.
