If you’re like me, you’ve got a wallet that adds a solid inch to your right buttcheek. ‘Coin’ is a new gadget that electronically organizes all the credit cards that you wish to program into it, thus, turning as many credit cards as you have, into just one. The product won’t be shipping until next summer, but can be pre-ordered for $50.
So cool! I really want this…
So do I…let’s make a Christmas wish list 🙂
Great idea!
What if you’re in a country that primarily uses chip cards, such as Canada?
I think most retailers in Canada still accept cards that have only stripes. But in Europe they are more strict on chip cards.
Don’t retailers allow you to swipe if you don’t a have a chip in the card?
So to clarify, I think it’s the banks and credit card companies that use chips – not a requirement of the retailer.
so how do the stores verify whether the card you swiped into your phone really belongs to you? There’s no name or picture that says the card you are using belongs to you.
Thats a good question but most visa cards now days require a pin number. That’s enough to verify you.
