Called the “Vita di Crist” or Christ’s Passion the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church in Varallo Sesia, Italy is the largest image on the web at the moment. Painted in 1513 by Gaudenzio Ferrari. It depicts the life and death of Christ in 21 panels with the crusifiction displayed at the center. Its not officialy the largest but it “probably” is. A total of 1145 frames were taken by digital camera and assembled into a final gigantic 8.6 gigapixel. Zoom at your will! LINK->
