If ever you were wondering what to do with that trove of remotes you have lying around in your attic, here’s an idea: build a TV out of it. Granted that it won’t beat the latest 4K TVs in resolution, it would still be an awesome project. Plus, repurposing those discarded remotes won’t hurt. They’ll just slowly decay into oblivion anyway otherwise. This one, created by Chris Shen, is now on an exhibit at 18 Hewett Street, London. The infrared light is invisible to the naked eye and will only be seen via infrared goggles. Imagine yourself welcoming guests at home and them asking, “What’s up with all those remotes? Are you building a super remote?” and you replying, “Wear this.”
