Mariners have long told about times where the sea would glow at night time intensly as far as the eye can see but not everyone believed them. Now a satellite has captured proof of that phenomenon (Milky Sea) and the images give hope for scientific studies. “The circumstances under which milky seas form is almost entirely unknown,” says Steven Miller, a Naval Research Laboratory scientist who led the space-based discovery. “Even the source for the light emission is under debate.”
”The mystery highlights how little scientists know about the ocean. Milky seas appear to be most prevalent in the Indian Ocean, where there are many trade routes, and near Indonesia.”

OMG ALIENS R OWNZ YOU!!!
not to be rude, but uh, this is seriously old news
RADIATION OR SOMETHING FROM A NUCLEAR TESTING SITE – FRANCE ??? MIDDLE EAST// HUMMM
technically radiation cannot really glow that brightly through the atmosphere and into the freekin void of space and another thing is that aliens {as far as we know} dont even exist…….
its prob. just the chemicals the underwater creature posseses…
I’d go for a huge whale trying to mate, but having trouble with his thing and letting his half babies swim glowingly around.
