Melanie Hoff wanted to see the unique patterns created by lightning. However, lightning is so fleeting that unless you capture it using a good camera at just the right moment, it’s gone forever. So she set out to see what 15,000 volts of power could do to plywood. Will it recreate the patterns of lightning? The video below shows the results.
