In the 1990s, a bunch of gene jockeys brought the first genetically engineered food to market. The business crashed but biotech science has flourished far beyond the produce aisle. And Monsanto, the giant evil corporation is killing bees, stealing from farmers and wants to put a patent on all the foods that we eat. How do they plan on doing that? Just watch this documentary called “The Truth About Monsanto“. In case you didn’t know Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds are patented and they sue farmers who use their seeds without paying. The problem is that seeds from farmers that use Monsanto seeds get carried by birds and nature to farmers who don’t and that is where the poor farmers who are innocent get sued and lose everything. In one of the South-american countries the contamination of Monsanto seeds was so bad that in some areas all crops are contaminated with Monsanto. It’s an epidemic, they want to control and own food. How wrong is that? Very! Their pesticides are killing bees across the world, we will soon be so dependent on Monsanto because bees can no longer pollinate crops that we will begg Monsanto to feed us.
