It may not surprise you that many organisms such as bees are completely dependent on plants and there are many other examples of symbiosis. But what may surprise you is when you realize that we are not much different than bees. We depend on plants and some plants have evolved along our side which in itself raises the question whether we are controlled by plants or not. Have we transformed their evolution for our purposes or is it the other way around? The documentary is called “Botany of Desire” and it was made in 2009, a very interesting look into this intriguing theory.
