After my recent post on the Transparent Smart Window from CES 2012 it was clear that the technology will evolve into many practical devices and be part of our future. Now a company called Corning which specializes in glass making shows us the possibilities of such technologies. Corning is the company behind the glass called “Gorilla Glass” that is known to be scratch resistant and nearly unbreakable compared to ordinary glass. In 2010 Gorilla Glass was used in 20% of world’s mobile devices, 200 million to be exact. With the introduction of 3D TV, Corning was securing its own future by being part of ours. With all these possibilities with Corning it would be wise to consider investing into their stocks.
